I wasn't a Dollastic watcher in the OG days, I just started watching her since she had her baby, cause yay mom collector solidarity! and it's wild how her story for starting collecting is so similar to mine ❤ I also started with BJDs and customizing but found the unique characters of MH (and the BJD-like poseability) so striking that I started collecting western dolls because of it. Love yall and also love having a guest on, so fun! ❤❤❤ I SQUEALED when Dollastic started talking about toy hunting with her daughter and recording it to preserve those moments and look back on when shes older 🥺🥺🥺 my daughter loves my dolls and sharing my passion for collecting with her has been so special so my heart is so happy she may have those kind of special moments with her daughter too 🥺🥺🥺

I’m loving this discussion. It reminds me of my world. Collecting can really be overwhelming. And I swear I can’t fathom getting rid of a bunch of my dolls. I just have some of them packed away. and it makes me wonder if I should just give them away. But it’s so hard

I think that when I started collecting I definitely fell for the “we must have every doll” and just recently I started realizing that I didn’t need every single doll because I was just buying them to say I had “this many dolls” I’m currently selling and decluttering my room 🫠

I would love to see dollastic do more of these talks and interviews with other collectors. Honestly as much as I like doll hunts and such I think these conversations are just as important and fun and rewarding as other videos and hunts are. I’d also love more in-depth videos of how she budgets ,balances financially with the things that she wants in collecting.

13:45 yeah! I’m from the same area. Half the time I have to drive far away to get a good selection of dolls. The other half of the time I have to just buy the only one that’s left because they have already been gone through. Especially when it comes to clearance season. It’s ruff.

I know Barbie has recently added Shania Twain, Helen Mirren, Kylie Minogue, etc to the inspirational women doll line but what about other inspirational female figures like: Dolly Parton, Princess Diana, Carole King, Linda Ronstadt, Pat Benatar, Mae West, etc. There's many more women that they're going to have to make. I know they're mainly female artists but I know Mattel can make them. I really wanted the Stevie Nicks doll that they released not too long ago. But I couldn't afford it 😢. I love Barbie and Monster High. But, I miss Gen 1 Monster High. It was my favorite Generation of Monster High. I know they made a lot of changes with Gen 3, but I want Gen 1 back. By the way if Monster High releases any new Skullector dolls I'm hoping it's Carrie White from Carrie (1976), Jigsaw from the Saw trilogy, Pinhead from the Hellraiser trilogy, etc. I'm also a Horror fan too.

And once companies change they don't go back!! It's very rare. And you saw her before you bought the doll, People really need to read before they buy something People expect too much nowadays!! 🤦🏼‍♀️
